A modern, five storey hotel built from the region's typical grey stone, the Ridgepool Hotel is situated on the river in Ballina, seven miles from Enniscrone beach. The hotel features 81 guestrooms with simple modern decor with pine wood furniture and fabrics in navy or terracotta. All guestrooms provide satellite television, direct dial telephones, clock radios, trouser presses and bathrooms with toiletries and hair dryers.
Guests can make use of the hotel's modern fitness centre, which incorporates a gym and an indoor swimming pool as well as a sauna, and steam room. A shuttle bus service between Knock Airport and Charlestown links with the local Bus Eireann network, which operates services to Ballina. Alternatively, taxis are available outside the terminal building.
From Knock Airport take the N11 to Charlestown, the N5 to Swinford and the N26 to Ballina.
